Date:    Location: The SCAHT Inaugural Symposium will take place in Geneva on 19th November 2009 from 10:30 to 16:00 in the Auditorium A100 - Science II Building - University of Geneva - Quai Ernest Ansermet - Geneva. Coffee and registration will be available from 10.00. Following welcome addresses by representatives of the Swiss Federation, the Conseil d'Etat de Genève and the participating universities, the morning session will focus on the regulatory, educational and information activities of the new Centre. During a buffet lunch, delegates will have the opportunity to view posters displaying a cross section of research activities of SCAHT. The afternoon session will be opened by a keynote lecture given by Professor Sir Colin Berry, London, on Public mistrust, indifferent science and the problems for regulation'. After this lecture the major SCAHT research projects will be presented and discussed.
