Swiss Centre for Applied Human Toxicology (SCAHT)

 

This is the first center of its kind in Switzerland, which conducts research and coordinates education  in Human Toxicology and it is supported by the Swiss Confederation.


We are a toxicology network based in several cities of Switzerland covering most, if not all important fields of Human Toxicology.

 

Our mission is to be the pioneer in Human Toxicology in Switzerland by carrying out essential research projects as well as providing educational and regulatory activities to help build a knowledge base on the subject.

 

The SCAHT is supported by the Swiss Confederation represented by:

  • the Federal Office of Public Health (OFSP)
  • the State Secretariat for Education and Research (SER)
  • the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG)
  • the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)
  • the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (Swissmedic)
