Objectives of proposed research

The centre will have four core research projects.

The first one will be on toxico-biomarker panels discovery using a “system approach”.

The second one will be on the genetics of infertility. Prof. Hochstrasser, one of the main applicants, will coordinate these two core projects.

The third and fourth ones will be on mechanistic toxicology and in vitro modeling, headed by Prof. Krähenbühl, the second main applicant. Within these two domains, the centre already has a strong position in Europe.

In the future, projects favored will be those that improve the collaboration between the groups within the centre in order to consolidate and strengthen the position of the centre in Europe.
